Mr Cameron’s Speech

Here is part of Mr Cameron’s resignation speech from last Friday.

I believe we’ve made great steps, with more people in work than ever before in our history, with reforms to welfare and education, increasing people’s life chances, building a bigger and stronger society, keeping our promises to the poorest people in the world and enabling those who love each other to get married whatever their sexuality, but above all restoring Britain’s economic strength.

So Mr Cameron, one of the great steps made under your premiership is “enabling those who love each other to get married whatever their sexuality.” This reminds me of the fourth woe upon those who abuse the Lord’s vineyard. The LORD Almighty says in Isaiah 5:20

Woe to those who call evil good
    and good evil,
who put darkness for light
    and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
    and sweet for bitter.

Alas Mr Cameron’s perspective would be shared by so many. Oh Lord have mercy.
