To venable (verb): To randomly muse upon this and that.

Speak up, brother

If you have something worth saying then makes sure people can hear it. If people cannot hear it then you may as well keep silent.

In 1 Corinthians 14:6-14 Paul is speaking about the limitation of tongues. Included in his thought is the assertion that  if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle? (1 Cor. 14:8). When we are preaching we need to give forth a clear sound. How many Bible Colleges and Seminaries give priority too this aspect of training? It seems to me vital that preachers can be heard. This involves volume and diction. Being trained to actually speak the right words is critical, but so is the speaking of those words so others can hear them.

Surely here is an important area for preachers and those who train preachers to think about.
